Davies is an experienced entrepreneur and innovator who has applied his business and management skills to launching start-ups as well as improving the operations of existing businesses. Davies is a frequent keynote speaker at international events, is well-known for his supply chain and sustainability expertise and is the author of numerous articles in business, industry, and educational publications. John received his BA from SUNY at Fredonia and his MA from the University of Delaware.

"Start small, dig deep and go horizontal country by country," said Clay Nesler, vice president of global energy and sustainability for the Building Efficiency business ofJohnson Controls.

He was referring to Johnson Control's Sustainable Energy 4 All (SE4All) building efficiency accelerator. The program is a public-private partnership between companies, NGO partners such as SE4All and WRI, and 28 cities looking to demonstrate and scale solutions for building energy efficiency.
